Description

Located in Cygnus, and approximately 6000 LY from Earth. I was able to pull out the OIII nebulosity of the faint bubble. This is a target I have been looking forward to imaging for some time and, happy with the result and really seeing the benefit of moving on to a monochrome camera like the 533MM Pro. I appreciate the square sensor, don't really need to worry about cropping the image very much. I worked several different methods to reduce the stars as my initial image pulled a very dense star field. I ended up using the Morphological Transformation method as BlurX and other methods I tried were unsuccessful for the stars after using StarX to separate them from the original RGB image.

This project began June 26, 2023, and continued July 3, July 5,  and July 10,  concluding acquisition on July 17, 2023.  I was fortunate to get some good nights between several hazy, poor air quality ones due to the Canadian wildfires.
